Welcome to All American Helicopters, LLC, where our mission is to enable pilots to realize their full potential safely and expediently.

We are located at 5077A Sabre Lane, Denton Municipal Airport, Denton, TX 76207. Our Chief Pilot/Chief Instructor, Gene La Coste, has thousands of hours and is military trained (two star General).

All American Helicopters is a Part 141 Certified flight school. This means that our training curriculum that has been approved by the FAA and that our school is subject to regular and random FAA inspections of school facilities, aircraft, student training records and instructor records. We have to meet the highest possible standards in well maintained aircraft at all times. In addition to meeting these high standards required by the FAA, All American Helicopters has been approved by the Texas Veterans Commission to provide flight training to veterans under the Montgomery GI Bill. We are also approved to issue M-1 visas to International students

Our company philosophy is very simple. Most flight schools have flight instructors with low hours (typically low hundreds) who have no real life flight experience. These schools have inexperienced instructors at low pay in order to increase profit. Typically as soon as these instructors reach 1000 hours, they leave for better paying jobs. You, the student, are paying the same rate for an inexperienced instructor who will likely leave the company as soon as you have paid for his needed flight hours. Conversely, we offer thousands of hours of actual flight time experience and stability for the same price or less. The benefits to you are obvious.

We do our very best to ensure that you have everything you need in our aircraft to realize your full potential and be the best pilot you can be.

Our avionics include an Attitude Indicator, Heading Indicator, Turn Co-Ordinator and Garmin GPS. We also have 2 radios.
Your safety comes first!

We are also very aware of costs - let’s face it, learning to fly a helicopter is not cheap. We believe that we have the edge that comes with experience. You benefit from this by working one on one with someone who is easily able to recognize your challenges and quickly and effectively help you overcome them. That’s money in your pocket with time saved.

all3.jpgWe provide as much flexibility as you need. Recreational pilots typically only want to do the Private program. Most continue on to get their Instrument Rating as well. If you are looking at flying part-time, we will work with you to accommodate your schedule. We offer suitable financing options to go with these program choices.

Many of our pilots are on the career track and take all their ratings with us. If you are on the career track, we recommend that you take your Instrument Rating immediately after your Private. This enables you to apply the hours you build during your instrument training to the required 150 hours for your Commercial. Once again, we offer suitable financing options for the Professional Pilot.

We created the Professional Pilot Program with you in mind. Our Professional Pilot Program includes Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII. If we know up front that you are going to go through the full program, we work with you to plan ahead so that we maximize your time and minimize your costs. Based on Part 141 FAA minimum flight hours and our discounted rates packages, the Professional Pilot program costs $57,650. This includes everything: flight hours, ground instruction, books, tests and checkrides. Please note that costs vary based on student progress and ability. You may need more than the FAA minimums to complete the program.
